The Boats
Nuala Star
The Nuala Star is a 36 foot, purpose built passenger boat with a 300hp perkins saber engine, and a top speed of 18 knots.
We work out of Teelin harbour on the north side of Donegal bay.
On board we have all the up to date safety, navigation, fish finding equipment and an experienced skipper to bring you to anywhere in Donegal bay and beyond.
The boat is licensed and insured for up to 12 passengers.
The boat has a P5 licence (number 1143) that allows us to operate up to a 30 mile radius from the port of departure.
We have a second boat now the Caoimhe Star is licenced for 12 passengers so we can carry 24 between both boats.
We can pick up passengers in most harbours on Donegal bay(min 10 passengers).
For larger groups we can arrange hire of other licensed boats in the area.

Caoimhe Star
Caoimhe Star is a Mitchell 31 sea angler with a 225hp perkins saber engine giving 15 knots.
It has all up to date safety, navigation, fish finding equipment to make your trip a memorable one.
Caoimhe star has a p3 licence (number 215) for 12 passengers allowing us to travel 15 miles from port of departure not more then 3 mile from shore.
The Skippers
The owner/skipper Paddy Byrne has over 20 years experience in commercial fishing, leisure angling and
in the off shore windfarm industery and has all the necessary qualifications and training to make your trip a safe and memorable one.
He is also a Sea Safety adviser with the RNLI.
Paddy is a powerboat instructor.
We have a pool of skippers who are experienced and qualified to a high standard to cater for your needs.
